Where the money goes
Live-in programs run all day and night. That means nurses, doctors, therapists, support staff, housing, food and a lot of insurance and paperwork. Marketing is a real cost too, and in this industry it can be a big one.
What is not worth paying extra for
A nicer room isn’t better care. Ask how much of what you’re paying goes to clinical time. Compare hours of therapy, staff credentials and aftercare, not the photos on the website.
For what you would really owe, see cost and insurance.

It varies by level of care, length of stay and insurance. Get your real share in writing.
Is expensive rehab better?
Not necessarily. Price often reflects amenities and location more than care.
Can I get rehab for free?
Funded care exists for people who qualify. Start with 211 or our no-insurance page.
