Does Florida Medicaid pay for rehab?
Yes, for people who qualify. What is covered depends on your plan, so here is how to check.

CALL YOUR PLAN
- Which programs are in network?
- Do I need prior approval?
- Which levels of care are covered?
The short answer
Florida Medicaid can cover substance use treatment, but what it pays for depends on your managed care plan and on medical need. The number on the back of your card is the place to start.
Many private rehabs in Palm Beach County do not accept Medicaid. If a program says it does, ask for the name of the plan it takes. If you hit a wall, the county’s managing entity and 211 can point you to programs that work with Medicaid or offer funded care.
